JUNIOR PRICING ANALYST
JOB DESCRIPTION – Junior Pricing Specialist – EXCIS Madagascar
Excis is a global IT services company, headquartered in the United Kingdom. We are now looking to recruit a fulltime Junior Pricing Specialist to join our Madagascar team to assist our sales team with Pricing and other sales related opportunities.
The Junior Pricing Specialist will price the relevant service / product / financial information required to prepare a winning bid, whilst taking ownership of the end-to-end pricing process. The Junior Pricing specialist is typically responsible for managing a pricing request from initial receipt from the sales team through to populating and distributing the final pricing quote using the company standard template.
Responsibilities include the introduction and implementation of all necessary pricing procedures, governance, and processes. This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It will require strong time management and commercial skills.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Manage the pricing process for new opportunities
• Work alongside virtual bid teams and inputs from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and delivery
• Preparing and reviewing the pricing template, ensuring all requested services are included in the final price to the customer
• Managing pricing requests to meet or exceed sales deadlines
• Using initiative to meet target pricing where provided
• Ensure timely delivery of compliant and sound bids
• Must be an excellent communicator.
• High level of expertise with Excel with a real grasp for numbers
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Minimum High School qualifications from an accredited college or university required, preferably within a business field
• A minimum of 1 years’ work experience within a similar position
Desired Characteristics:
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at multiple stakeholder levels.
• Proven ability to champion new ideas, with strong execution skills and proven ability to translate ideas into actions
• Basic understanding of managed services in relation to desktop support, networking, datacentre support, third party maintenance and other services
• Strong, excellent spoken and written English language skills.
Technical Expertise:
• Able to make or recommend decisions based on in-depth analysis
• Able to define critical problems to be solved
• Identifies data sources required to execute tasks
• With guidance from manager, able to select and conduct advanced analytic techniques
• Uses a formal process to present findings and recommend specific actions that relate to business objectives.
